He's Here... He's Here!

Yes, for those that aren't on the Urgent Baby Calling System, Brenda had her baby this morning.

Both mom and baby are doing wonderfully as are Dad & Big Sister Ashlynn. The birthing process went really quick and I have to say... Brenda looked relaxed and beautiful when I visited her in the hospital... seriously, if I didn't see her ID bracelet and a newborn I'd think she was on vacation and not a new mom again. LOL

Okay, just joking... That's a well rested Auntie Dawn that had no clue she'd become an auntie overnight. Seriously, I went to bed and Brenda was home, not feeling anything exciting going on. Then BAM... phone rings at 6:45 this morning and Liam has arrived! :)

Liam Andrew Storey was born at 3:25 a.m. on 10/20/2009
He was 7 lbs. 7 oz. and was 20" long





Just wanted to share with everybody! If you'd like to see more baby pictures, I just uploaded some to Walgreen's for Grandma to pick up. So anytime after 5:07 pm today when they pick them up, you can call Grandma and Grandpa and see if they are around for you to see.

Hope everybody's evenings are wonderful and full of love! We're so blessed to have such a wonderful family.

Bun in the Oven...

Made you all do a double take didn't I! Not my oven of course... I just wanted to give a shout out to Carissa & Jesse! ♥

How's the bun in your oven coming dear? ☺ Should be getting that wonderful baby pink, powdery finish and be ready to come out any day now! How are you feeling Carissa? Hopefully your back, feet & ankles are holding up... and that's not my personal experience knowledge speaking... I can only go from hear-say of other expectant mothers!

Can't wait to hear your good news... Jesse, I know you'll be a calming influence in the delivery room. Hold her hand, breathe deep, and let us all know when your cute little princess has arrived!

Then before you know it, spring will be here and your flowers will be blooming! ☼ Yeah!

Happy Sunday morning all! It was wonderful to see many of the ladies of the family yesterday at Carissa's baby shower. Carissa, your home was so warm and inviting. I thoroughly felt right at home! :) You and Jesse should be so proud, and I know you are super excited for your little girl to be here! We're all waiting for the good news!

Born 7/1/2008 at 8:27 a.m.
-not bad since Bren only went in at 10:30 last night :) At least that is what I'm told... I have no experience in that arena.

Both mother and baby are doing wonderful. Bren's comment, "Dawn, it's the hardest thing I've ever done... but holding my little precious peanut is worth every bit of it!"
