What Are You Doing on Mother's Day?

If you are part of the Gene and Cele Reindl family, you are invited to the home of Scott and Rita to celebrate Mother's Day. The party starts around noon. We're planning on grillin' out about 2ish. It's a bring-your-own kind of deal. So - bring your own meat (or whatever you want to grill), a dish to pass, something to drink and yourselves. Hopefully, everyone will RSVP via the blog so we have an idea what "dish to pass" people are planning on bringing. However, if we end up with 7 different pasta salads -I'm totally cool with that.

I will have hamburger and hotdog buns, plates, plasticware, glasses, condiments, and napkins. I hope to see y'all there. However, if you already have plans for Mother's Day, since this is a little later than one would usually plan a party, I hope you have a GREAT Day. Rest assured, this will not be the last party we host.

I look forward to hearing from everybody.

Love,
Rita

Hi Rita and Scott!!

THANKS FOR THE INVITE! You can definitely count on Vince, Kelly and Joey to be there (because we don't want to be square!) (Okay, am I square for even saying that??!!)

All my college students will be staying in Milwaukee because they start final exams on the Saturday right before Mother's Day...What is that school thinking??!! lolol
Actually, I asked them all to just stay down there for Mother's Day/Sunday so they can just stay in "school mode". Finals resume on Monday and go through Friday that week.

Why am I telling you all of this? Just trying to explain why only three of us will be showing up.

I LOVE that you're not quite eating until 2-ish because that's when we'll be done at Camp Gray. Yeah, they chose MOTHER'S DAY to have their Open House for all families who be going to camp this summer, from 10am to 2pm. Of course, Joey wants to be there as soon as it opens and I figure it will take us 3 hours to look around before he will feel completely comfortable about staying there for 5 nights :) We'll stop in right after that...

As far as what we will bring...I will bring an appetizer of a hot spinach/artichoke dip (and the tortilla chips/crackers it needs.)
(Oh, do you mind if Vince could use your oven that day to cook it??)

I KNOW we will bring something else but am too tired to come up with it at the moment! I just checked the blog, though, and thought I would let you know right away that we can't wait to come!

I'll blog again in a few days and let you know what Vince will be making, ok? :)

Well unlike aunt Kelly...we will be square this Mother's Day. Unfortunately, I have to work so unless you want to move the party to the Elkhorn Walgreens, i'm going to have to take a rain-check and see you at the next party. Happy Mother's Day to all the mommma's!

Love- Bren and Family

Bren - Bummer! Although, I have always wanted to work at Walgreen's. It is one of my favorite stores! If I worked there, Noah probably would have wanted to come with me on "take your child to work day."

Have a WONDERFUL 1st Mother's Day! We will miss you, Ashlynn and Brian.

Love,
Aunt Rita

My Sources Say "Yes!"

And what's a BBQ w/ out homemade creamy coleslaw??? Aunt Rita, do you have baked beans or do you want me to pick up some of those too? I'm happy to grab some Busch's when I go to the store! ;)

Can't wait to see you! It's like a re-house warming with your family room and new bathroom... I'm bringing my swimsuit to try out the tub!!! :) Just Kidding... I don't want people to skip your party on my account! LOL

Lots of Love to all!
XO,
Dawn

Busch's Baked Beans would be awesome! Thanks! I'm so glad you'll be able to make it! Is it bad to finish every sentence with an exclamation mark?

Who cares? I'm really looking forward to this.

See ya Sunday!
Love,
Aunt Rita
